Bertone BAT 11
Mon, 10 Mar 2008By Guy Bird Motor Shows 10 March 2008 11:43 What’s new on Bertone’s Geneva Motor Show stand? Italian coachbuilder Bertone might be in deep financial trouble – it didn’t have a stand at the Geneva show – but its styling division, Stile Bertone, revealed an incredible one-off car on the night of the first press day instead at Auto Design Night, a special event for car designers held at city centre night club La SIP. Fri, 11 Apr 2014This is the new 2015 Corvette Z06 convertible, the Stingray for owners who want it all, shown a little earlier than we expected. Buyers get the Z06 engine, racing suspension and brakes, and now, for the first time since 1963, they can get that package with a convertible top, as we'll see at the New York auto show. “Until recently it was not possible to create a lightweight, open-roof structure strong enough to cope with the braking, cornering and acceleration of Corvette's top performance models,” said Corvette chief engineer Tadge Juechter.
Chrysler loses 'Imported from Detroit' lawsuit
Wed, 29 Jun 2011A federal judge today denied a motion by Chrysler Group LLC to bar use of its "Imported from Detroit" commercial tag line by clothier Pure Detroit, which in turn has formally opposed Chrysler's bid to trademark the phrase. U.S. District Judge Arthur Tarnow ruled that Chrysler's request didn't show that it would suffer irreparable harm or that it had a strong likelihood of winning its case.
