VINTAGE INTERIOR DOOR HANDLES - PLYMOUTH

This week I am listing a variety of  PLYMOUTH and FORD interior window cranks and interior door handles (at least they appear to be for the interior, but you tell me.)

.  These are from an estate of an antique car collector and restorer in my area and were in bags marked as to year range and make..  A few had the label off of the end of the box in the bag verifying the contents. The majority of these did not, and I AM NOT an expert on this vintage of automobiles.

So, please be aware that I have identified these to the best of my ability by the written description on the bag and some comparisons to similar parts listed recently by other sellers.

THE SPECIFICS ON THIS PARTICULAR LISTING ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  MAKE:                                    PLYMOUTH

MODEL YEAR                       1941 TO 1946

QUANTITY:                           3

CONDITION (my opinion):     1 - VG, 1- O.K., 1 - needs chromed

PART #:                                  628L/628R

FITS SQUARE SHAFT.

DESCRIPTION:  These are 3 interior door handles.  The chrome finish is V. Good on one. good on another, and poor on the third..

U.S. set to raise fuel-economy standard

Tue, 19 May 2009

Government regulators will get their prize of higher fuel-economy standards, and automakers will get the certainty of a national emissions standard, under new rules to be proposed Tuesday by President Barack Obama. The fleet average fuel economy for automakers will rise to 35.5 mpg in 2016 under the president's proposal--10 mpg more than today's mandate. At the same time, the president's proposed rule will cut carbon emissions, thought to be a key factor in global warming.
