Hyundai Intrado Concept previewed ahead of Geneva 2014 debutTue, 10 Dec 2013The Hyundai Intrado (pictured) will debut at Geneva 2014 The Hyundai Intrado Concept (pictured above) is being previewed ahead of a debut at next year’s Geneva Motor Show, and previews not just the new Intrado but Hyundai’s vision of its future. The Intrado (HED-9) looks to be a compact SUV/Crossover and features Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design, showcasing the design future of Hyundai now Peter Schreyer is pulling the design strings at Hyundai as well as Kia. Hyundai say the Intrado is built round a super-lightweight structure using advanced materials joined with a revolutionary technique which, say Hyundai, could change the way cars are constructed in the future. Mercedes S-Class Convertible confirmedSun, 29 Sep 2013The Mercedes S-Class Convertible will be based on the S-Class Coupe (pictured) The new Mercedes S-Class has already arrived, and we’ve also got the new S-Class Coupe (in concept form, at least) with the next variant of the new S-Class now looking likely to be the Mercedes S-Class Convertible. We’ve known since 2011 that Mercedes were planning to chop the top off the S-Class for the first time since the W111 S-Class in the 1960s, but this is the first time anyone from Mercedes has officially confirmed it. Thomas Weber, Mercedes’ product development boss, has told Automotive News that the S-Class Convertible is on the way and will be based on the new S-Class Coupe. Saab gets approval for voluntary reorganization on appealWed, 21 Sep 2011...and Victor Muller smiles Victor Muller never says die, and the news that Saab has, after all, been granted the right to court protection from its creditors for a period of reorganisation has vindicated his stubborn refusal to give up on Saab. The Court of Appeal in Gothenburg has this morning overturned an earlier judgement by the District Court in Vänersborg which rejected Saab’s application to get the court’s protection during a period of ‘reorganisation’, which you can read as ‘Waiting for the dosh to arrive from China’. The news last week that Rachel Pang – a director of Pang Da, one of Saab’s putative investors – has come out in a very bullish way about the prospects for the investment by Pang Da and Youngman getting the final rubber stamp from China’s NDRC in Beijing won’t have harmed Saab’s case one bit. 2040Parts.com © 2012-2024.
