 Features
In a proper installation the ceramic element is tilted inside the housing, which compensates for your boats deadrise. This aims the beam straight toward the bottom, resulting in stronger echo returns and more accurate depth readings.

 Minimize Your Drag
The P19 and B619 models have been the standard in low-profile models for many years. Their large sensitive ceramics allow deep echosounding up to 206 m (700’). These nearly flush units minimize drag as only 5 mm (2/10”) of the housing extends outside of the hull. The plastic P19 and bronze B619 provide a vertical beam without a fairing. Inside the housing, the ceramic element is tilted to provide built-in deadrise compensation. The resulting vertical beam provides excellent echo returns for more accurate depth readings.

Bentley 6¾ litre V8 to end production – Diesels & Hybrid on the way

Fri, 17 Aug 2012

Bentley’s outgoing boss has revealed Bentley are planning to drop their trademark 6¾ litre V8 and introduce hybrid and diesel options. Bentley’s famed 6¾ litre V8 engine – in production since 1959, although it didn’t grow to 6¾ litre until 1970 - is as much a USP for Bentley as the badge and the history. BMW tried to bring production of the old iron lump to an end in 1998 – replacing it with a characterless BMW 4.4 litre V8 – but it was back a year later when VW took over as the motivation for the Red Label Arnage – and it’s stayed ever since.

VW Golf GTI Excessive (2010): the maximum GTI

Sun, 16 May 2010

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 16 May 2010 07:07 The Volkswagen Group has fallen in love with the Austrian hot hatchfest that is Wörthersee. Barely a year goes by when an outrageous Audi or VW isn't being wheeled out to Europe's GTi fans – and 2010 is no different. The new VW Golf GTI Excessive is not as extreme as its name suggests, but rather it's a gently tweaked-up version of one of the most rounded hot hatches on sale today.
