Ukraine's president Viktor Yanukovych, now hiding in Russia, seemed to have everything imaginable and unimaginable in his car collection on the Dnieper River. Everything from a fiberglass-bodied Ford Custom Coupe based on a 1994 Ford Mustang, to an early post-war GAZ M20 Pobeda. A couple days ago, we gave you an exclusive look at his collection in detail, showing all the vehicles that anti-Yanukovych activists and journalists saw when they made their way to the compound following Yanukovych's hasty departure for Sevastopol by helicopter.

Renault Megane Renaultsport 275 Trophy – heading For Goodwood FoS 2014

Megane Renaultsport 275 Trophy (pictured) aiming for a Nurburgring record Renault teased the Megane Renaultsport 275 Trophy on social media last month, but now it’s arrived – and it’s going to have a busy summer. Apart from a  debut at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed next month, Renault are planning to take the 275 Trophy to the Nurburgring to try and grab back the lap record for a production front wheel drive car from the SEAT Leon Cupra 280. With that in mind, Renault has given the 2.0 litre Turbo in the Megane Renaultsport 275 Trophy a bit of a tweak to yield 271bhp hoping that will be enough to beat the current 7:58.4s record.

VW Amarok: Volkswagen pick-up comes to UK in 2011

Volkswagen will launch the Amarok pick-up truck in the UK in spring 2011. It’s the first time since the 1980s that a VW pick-up has been sold in Britain. VW plans to sell just a couple of thousand Amaroks a year in the UK in a full year; the big markets for this truck are utility-centric markets such as Australia and both north and south America (the VW Amarok is built in Argentina).
