Saleen S5S Raptor
Thu, 20 Mar 2008By Liz Turner Motor Shows 20 March 2008 21:13 Saleen is best known for its red-hot Mustangs, but at New York it revealed an American supercar concept to rival the Europeans. It’s powered by a Saleen-built supercharged 6.0-litre V8, that will run on ethanol (like an increasing number of race cars).
Tesla to work with others, Roadster priced at £92k
Tue, 19 Aug 2008By Ben Oliver Motor Industry 19 August 2008 09:21 Tesla has confirmed that it is working with several major car makers to develop affordable, fully-electric city cars, with the first going on sale as early as 2010. The established car makers will use the experience Tesla has gained developing the high-performance, £92,000 Roadster as a short cut to getting their own electric cars on sale. 'Smaller Teslas in the pipeline' Tesla plans to have its Model S five-seat electric hatchback on sale by 2010 in both the United States and Europe.

New spy photos seem to show just that. Of course, this could be a case of a privately owned BMW M3 being in the right place at the right time, catching up with what appears to be a heavily camouflaged Cadillac ATS-V on the road somewhere outside metropolitan Detroit.
