Denza confirmed as brand name for Daimler BYD joint venture

Fri, 30 Mar 2012

Denza - the JV brand of BYD and Daimler The joint venture between Mercedes (Daimler) and BYD in China is to market cars under the Denza brand. It seems to have taken a very long time for the partnership between Mercedes Benz’ parent company Daimler and China’s BYD to come up with product or even a name. Spy photos: BMW i8 hits Swedish test track

Mon, 30 Apr 2012

Spy photographers caught the new BMW i8 testing on a secret track wearing the company’s familiar psychedelic camouflage. The test car pictured is a preproduction model rather than a concept BMW i8, similar to what should appear in 2013. As reported earlier, we’re expecting BMW’s 2014 i8 hybrid coupe to get a 1.5-liter, three-cylinder direct-injection gasoline engine--essentially the same unit earmarked to head into the next-generation Mini and the front-wheel-drive BMW 1-series due out in 2014.

New BMW 1-Series (2012) Price & Details

Sat, 30 Jul 2011

2012 BMW 1-Series - Full UK Prices & Details Back in June we got the official reveal of the 2012 BMW 1-Series ahead of a launch at Frankfurt. Which did seem a bit early, but as we’d published a whole heap of leaked photos of the new 1-Series just the day before perhaps BMW’s hand was forced? Still, it appears BMW’s plans were always to get the detail out on the 1-Series out well ahead of Frankfurt, because the 2012 BMW 1-Series is going to turn up in a showroom near you as soon as the cleaners hit the floor to wrap up the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.
