Saab is sold again: two Chinese makers buy Saab
Fri, 28 Oct 2011Chinese car makers Pang Da and Youngman today agreed to buy Saab in its entirety from Swedish Automobile. It's the latest extraordinary twist in the saga of Saab, which has been technically bankrupt since September 2011 and built just 11,000 cars this year. The deal, which will see the Chinese car makers pay €100 million for Saab, has not yet however been signed and sealed.

Tue, 10 Sep 2013The All new Nissan X-Trail for 2014 (pictured) revealed at Frankfurt 2013 Nissan has finally brought their X-Trail SUV up to date with an all new X-Trail debuting at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Gone are the boxy looks of the old X-Treail to be replaced by a much more modern looking package that takes many of its styling cues from the Juke and Qashqai, promising much more appeal to buyers in the process. Despite its cosmetic makeover that moves it closer to its soft-roading siblings, the new X-Trail still promises to fo the rough stuff with a decent amount of aplomb.
Hyundai names former GM exec Shannon as U.S. marketing boss
Thu, 07 Apr 2011Hyundai has tapped a General Motors veteran as its new U.S. marketing chief, filling a spot that has sat empty for more than seven months. Steve Shannon was named vice president of marketing for Hyundai Motor America on Wednesday and will officially take his position on April 18, Hyundai spokesman Chris Hosford said.
