Up for auction is a Tiller Handle from an Elgin Outboard. Includes the shear pin holder mounted on the side. Total length is 14-1/2".  See pictures for the parts included in this auction and their condition. Being sold As-Is.

From an estate sale find. The tag lists the donor motor as Model Number 571-58561 (1951-1952 Elgin 5 HP). Parts may fit other models or manufacturers. Since I have no knowledge of the condition of the motor when it was auctioned, this is being sold As-Is for parts. Check my other auctions for more parts from this motor. I do combine shipping for winners of multiple items (if appropriate).

For U.S. based shipping, I ship via First Class if the packaged weight is less than 13 ounces. If heavier than that, CDs, books and records will be shipped via Media Mail. £110BN price tag put on Deadly accidents by Road Safety Body

A NEW report commissioned by a parliamentary safety group claims that deaths and serious injuries on the roads are likely to cost society £110 billion in the years to 2030. According to the Parliamentary Advisory Committee for Transport Safety (Pacts), the total of those killed or seriously injured (KSIs) over this period is expected to be around a third of a million. These figures are expected despite the report predicting a dip in KSIs and slight injuries by 2030 compared with figures for 2012.

Government’s Cash For Potholes Plan Gets Underway

MORE than three million potholes will be filled in by March next year as part of the biggest investment in roads since the 1970s. The Government has set aside £168 million to mend the nation's broken roads, spread across 148 councils. Each council will get a share, but extra money will be given to those which demonstrate "best practice in highways maintenance", including bringing in specialist machinery or setting up dedicated repair teams.
