“A used vintage OEM AMC Jeep timing chain cover # 3179067. Appears to be a older 1960's-early 70's timing chain cover. online shows that it will fit a 304 CI , 360 CI and 401CI engine. All area's show normal wear with no cracks corrosion or stripped threads.Will fit and work with many AMC Jeep auto's and trucks late 1960's-early 1970's. Questions welcome.”

 OEM  Used  AMC Jeep Timing Chain Cover #3179067  1  B

This timing chain cover  is in fairly clean and in usable condition.  No broken or missing parts, damage or heavy corrosion.  Appears to be the Late 1960's early 70's series type.  Online search reads for a 304CI, 360CI and 401 CI engines and possibly other AMC engines as well.   With the unveiling of the new BMW M4 imminent, BMW’s excitement has got the better of it with the M Division releasing a video showing featuring the new M4’s engine note. The video might be called ‘BMW M is preparing something new’, but the engine isn’t really a fresh design. It’s actually a tweaked, twin-turbo version of the 435i’s 3.0-litre straight-six, making this the first M Division 3-series derivative to use forced induction.

Someone at Subaru probably canceled their plans, found enough Mountain Dew to keep them awake, plunked down in a comfy chair and watched the entirety of Grindhouse -- including the fake trailers -- to come up with the above fake trailer. Skateboarding hero Bucky Lasek, who races for Subaru's GRC team, does his best stoner-hippie Johnny Depp impression as he picks up the sheriff's daughter (Instagram "sensation" Kayslee Collins) and proceeds to do donuts around typical Midwestern fare -- and a peeing scarecrow -- in a 2015 Subaru Impreza WRX, made for jumping on dirt, storming through fireballs, being menaced by a shotgun and feeding Lasek donuts while he does donuts himself. You've been warned.

GM contacting Chevrolet Volt owners as NHTSA investigates battery fire

General Motors on Monday said it is contacting all owners of the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid to reassure them that the car is safe as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigates a battery fire from a Volt that was crash-tested. GM said any Volt owner who had safety concerns would be offered a different GM car as a loaner vehicle. Executives also stressed during a teleconference that the battery issues were seen only in vehicles in the crash tests.
