Bentley Continental GT 2011 Spied
Thu, 25 Mar 2010The 2011 Bentley Continental GT The Bentley Continental GT – complete with its awesome W12 engine – has been with us for seven years and has managed to cement a reputation as a hugely capable car – if a little tainted by the ‘WAG’ paintbrush. Chevy Malibu Eco hybrid is a tough sell
Mon, 28 Jan 2013Most prospective Chevrolet Malibu buyers at Castle Chevrolet in suburban Chicago quickly decide that they don't want to pay nearly $3,000 more for the Eco mild-hybrid version. "For most people, it's hard to justify the extra money based on the extra fuel economy" of a combined 3 mpg more than the base model, says Jeff Tuckman, the dealership's inventory manager. "You've got the base LS model sitting next to it that's just as nice and luxurious." It's a problem flagged by many Chevy dealers.
First Sight: Infiniti Emerg-e
Tue, 06 Mar 2012It's a month before the Geneva motor show and amongst the usual pre Motor Show commotion I receive a string of cryptic emails about an Infiniti electric sports car concept. The name Emerg-e is only revealed as I drive to the secret preview at Park Royal Studios in West London to meet the big three in design – global design director Shiro Nakamura, Francois Bancon of advanced design and head of Nissan Design Europe Victor Nacif. This is clearly a critical car for Infiniti.
