You see, it’s not really an out and out supercar – and it doesn’t sport the price tag of one either – but it’s more than just a competent GT car; better than ‘just’ a continent-crusher. Ahead of its arrival with customers, Porsche has delivered a new video of the GT3 designed to make it clear just how some of its technical highlights work to make the GT3 swifter and more nimble than ever before. Power is of course the key to the GT3 – 468bhp and 324lb/ft of torque – but the power is no good unless the GT3 can put that power down as efficiently as possible in all circumstances. Porsche assert that the GT3′s chassis is engineered for Motorsport, and key elements of the new GT3 make it even more able.

Jaguar to end XK production after 18 years

Jaguar will this summer cease production of the XK 2+2 GT car after 18 years at the top of the Coventry firm’s model range. The decision to stop making the XK comes after the hugely successful launch of the F-Type – which, say analysts, has led to a big fall in XK sales as thousands of buyers queues up to buy the F-Type.
