This 1957 Ferrari 250 TR – or Testarossa – has just become the most expensive car ever sold in the UK outside of an auction. The exact figure paid is undisclosed, but is said to be in excess of the previous record-holder, a Ferrari 250 GTO that sold for £22.5 million in 2012. Yes folks, if you’ve got the cash, classic Ferraris are where it’s at in the investment world right now.

Tesla Model S: European price revealed

Tesla has announced prices and model availability for Europe of the Model S – it starts at €72,600 – but no UK prices until late 2013. The Tesla Model S is garnering some impressive reviews now it’s out in the wild in the US, but it’s still some way from landing in Europe. But at least Tesla has come up with price and spec details for Europe, even though RHD models for the UK still don’t have a number.

The annual graduation exhibit for the Umeå Institute of Design began last week. With just nine automotive students amongst those receiving honors, the concise yet elaborate degree show was unequivocally Scandinavian. Marking the show's opening, the two-day event featured a presentation by Richard Seymour (of Seymour Powell), student presentations, copious amounts of local cuisine, and a break-dancing interlude.
