Torqueflite 4.2:1 Kd Band Apply Lever: 1962-1964 Max Wedge, 1964-1965 Race Hemi on 2040-parts.com
Marysville, Washington, United States
PLEASE NOTE: we occasionally close our eBay Store the first 7 calendar days of the month to prepare Torqueflite parts for sale, prepare merchandise, restock and perform maintenance. You will still be able to contact us during the closure via eBay’s messaging system or via e-mail to us. Thanks, Pat
If you don’t see a Torqueflite part you need on our eBay Store, contact us with questions as we stock virtually all parts, particularly for the 1960-1965 types.
Note: we also have 5.0 and 3.8 KD levers as well as complete H.P. kickdown servo assemblies. Excellent condition, used, factory Chrysler 4.2:1 ratio apply lever for Torqueflite second gear (kickdown/front) band. Original application was the 1962-1964 Max Wedge and 1964-1965 Race Hemi Torqueflites, however it will fit any 727, 904, 998, 999, A-518 or A-500. Increases the holding capability of the second gear (kickdown) servo on the front band, thereby also increasing horsepower capability of the Torqueflite. Also works very well in “street” applications to enhance performance without the “overlap” problems that gives the “tapped the brakes” lurch often evident when using the 5.0:1 lever in a street car (bind-up between second and third gear for a fraction of a second during the 2-3 light-throttle shifts). Shipping $ 7.55 via Priority Mail; insurance available for an additional $ 2.30. We ship purchases twice weekly, Wednesday’s and Saturday’s. eBay's new policy restricts e-mail addresses between buyers and sellers; contact us for technical information or pictures by substituting the "@" symbol for the "at" in the following: tflitepatty"at"comcast.net. Contact us for shipping costs to foreign countries. Other special parts also available for the HEMI 426 & 440 Six-Pack Torqueflites: special wide 5-disc front clutch drums (1964-1970 & 1971-1972), OEM/NOS “SpiroLock” snap rings for front clutch spring retainer, 15 spring front clutch apply piston, special wide KD/second gear bands, special KD band apply levers in 5.0:1 , special KD servo inner 20 lb. release spring, 4-pinion planetary gearsets (front & rear), HEMI Torqueflite governor parts and kits, as well as rebuilt HEMI torque converters (24-spline & 19-spline) and rebuilt 440 Six-Pack torque converters (both OEM 24-spline [1968+] and 19-spline for 1962-1966 TF-727’s). Sun, 09 Sep 2012Jaguar Land Rover has revealed it is going to build cars in China, starting with either the Freelander 2 or Evoque. Jaguar Land Rover has revealed that it going to build cars outside the UK for the first time (as opposed to re-assembling Freelander 2 CKD kits as it does in India) in a plant just north of Shanghai. As this is China, official permission from the Chinese government is required, but with the joint venture between Chery and JLR now official its seems unlikely to be a problem as JLR will already have agreed to Chery producing JLR cars with Chery badges on.
