NOS/OEM Chrysler factory part number 2801217, 5.0:1 ratio kickdown band (second gear) apply lever used in the Street Hemi 426 and 440-6 Pack Torqueflites. Can be installed in any 727 or 904, 998, 999 Torqueflites; gives aprox. 30% better holding capacity on the second gear (kickdown) band. Best used in drag strip applications rather than street car, as it tends to cause “overlap” during the 2-3 shift on the street particularly at light-throttle. The 4.2:1 Max Wedge & Race Hemi lever tends to be a better KD lever for street use; we have them available also.
