Looking for a bit firmer shift with your Torqueflite and the OEM line pressure spring at the maximum setting ? This aftermarket extra-heavy-tension line pressure regulator spring is used to elevate line pressure for firmer shifts, applicable to automatic valve bodies or manual valve bodies. Can be used with any Torqueflite 727 or 904 from 1960 & later. Can also be used to raise governor shift points if set to tension spec higher than those attainable with OEM spring. Note: this spring completely relaxed (@ 1-9/16” spec) starts with the same tension as the Chrysler factory spring tension under maximum compression @ 1-3/16” dimension. Following comparisons measured at stated heights in lbs. of tension. OEM spring @ factory setting of 1-5/16” = 12.5 lbs. (90 psi line pressure), Max Wedge cars @ 1-1/4” = 13.5 lbs. (105 psi line pressure), Chrysler’s recommendation of 1-3/16” for H.P. use = 14.5 lbs. (120 psi line pressure). HEAVY-TENSION spring @ 1-9/16” = 14.5 lbs., @1-1/2” = 16.5 lbs., @ 1-7/16” = 18.5 lbs., @1-3/8” = 19.5 lbs., @ 1-5/16” = 20.5 lbs., @ 1-1/4” = 21.0 lbs., 1-3/16” = 23.5 lbs. Spring supplied with a tension/adjustment comparison chart. Shipping $ 5.60 via First Class Mail. We ship twice weekly: Wednesdays and Saturdays. eBay's new policy restricts e-mail addresses between buyers and sellers if using eBay’s messaging system; contact us directly for technical information or pictures by substituting the "@" symbol for the "at" in the following: tflitepatty"at"comcast.net. Thu, 31 Jul 2014

A HORSHAM family is gearing up for a memorable summer in the sunshine after beating thousands of motorists across the UK to win a Volkswagen car worth a cool £10,000. James Bancroft and his family won the Bridgestone-led competition after driving in to his local Elite Garage on Brighton Road in Horsham for a new set of tyres. Three weeks after James texted his details as part of the Bridgestone sales campaign, he was told that he’d beaten more than 2,000 fellow hopefuls across the UK to win a Volkswagen Up hatchback.

Peugeot 4007 GT HDi 156 Review & Road Test Part 2

Sun, 28 Mar 2010

Part 2 of our review / road test of the Peugeot 4007 GT HDi 156 France is a beautiful and diverse country with great wines and great food – and it’s the world capital of style and fashion. So it’s a bit of a shame with all that style and flair on their doorstep that Peugeot chose to graft a completely incongruous nose on the Mitsubishi Outlander to turn it in to a Peugeot. Still, it does look like a Peugeot so in that sense they succeeded.

Porsche Carrera GT Wallpaper

Porsche Carrera GT Wallpapers in standard and widescreen resolutions Porsche originally planned on  building 1500 Porsche Carrera GTs, but in fact only 1270 were actually built, with almost half of these going to the US. Just five standard colours were available on the Carrera GT (although Porsche would produce special paint finishes on request) and all featured a six speed manual ‘box and a base list price of $444,000 + tax. The limited production of the Porsche Carrera GT has helped it retain much of its value – a 2004 Carrera GT would still command in the region of $350,000.
