Canton, Michigan, United States
Condition:Used

Removed from my 2009 R1200GS when I traded it in. Guards are in excellent condition. Used with crash bars. Mounting hardware included, but may be a spacer missing. Guards sold as-is.

Beautiful lasercut aluminum and stainless steel guards for the cylinder heads. Bolts to existing screw holes on the cylinder head of all Hex-Head engines. Fits with TOURATECH crashbars, but do not fit with BMW OEM crashbars.

Customer feedback relates that even after a 70mph slide along asphalt these guards still held up and protected the cylinder head allowing the bike to be righted and driven home without leaking oil from a cracked cover.

Looks GREAT on an R1200GS!

  • Pair (L+R)
  • Stylish and strong
  • Anodized BLACK
  • Fits all R1200 Hex-Head engines, all years through 2009
  • Fits R1200R, R1200RT, R1200GS, HP2
  • Does not fit with BMW Crash Bars
  • Does not fit R1200GS Adventure

Bentley Continental Supersports – Driven at Goodwood

Wed, 15 Jul 2009

Derek Bell took the Bentley Continental Supersports up the Goodwood Hillclimb So this bit of news – and video – is slightly out of sync, but as it features Bentley’s fastest car ever – and Derek Bell driving – so it was hard not to give you the chance to have a look. The Bentley Supersports is what all ‘Eco’ cars should be – madly powerful but with a green badge and it can run on E85 Bio Fuel! The Bentley Supersports manages to churn out 612bhp from its 6.0 litre, twin-turbo W12 engine, delivering the 0-60mph sprint in 3.7 seconds and on to over 200mph.

Tue, 08 Sep 2009

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 08 September 2009 12:57 PSA is forging closer links with Mitsubishi; after the Outlander became the C-Crosser and 4007, now Peugeot has teamed up with the Japanese to launch the i0n – an electric car based on the electric Mitsubishi i-car. The zero-emissions Peugeot i0n (combines a zero with ions, geddit?) will go on sale at the end of 2010 and builds on the French company’s expertise with EVs stretching all the way back to 1995 when it launched the 106 Electric. It’ll go 80 miles on one charge of the lithium ion battery, making it ideal for urban commuting and short shuttles, says Peugeot.
