RM auction in Monaco rakes in $45.1 million

Call it the Feast of Ferrari. Led by a stunning lineup of rare and classic automobiles wearing the Prancing Horse, sales at the RM auction in Monaco on May 1 totaled more than $45.1 million. The highest seller at the event was a 1962 Ferrari 400 Superamerica Cabriolet Pininfarina AWB, which sold for $3.8 million, a record for Superamericas, RM said.

Mazda6

The second generation of the Mazda6 doesn't stray far from the successful look of the outgoing model.  Though slightly longer, wider and taller than the model it replaces, its styling cues still clearly define the car as a 6. With that in mind it’s no surprise that the enormous list price of the Citroen C-Zero EV and Peugeot iOn EV have been slashed by £6,939, bringing the price down to a still silly £26,216, although, at least for now, you can still get the taxpayer bribe of £5,000 bringing the price you pay down to £21,216.
