Citröen Metropolis concept car (2010) first pictures

The press statement says the Metropolis concept ‘pays homage to China’s extraordinary development’ but just how this Citröen forces millions of people to live in poverty with no access to an uncensored media isn’t yet clear.A massive 5.3m long (longer than a stretched 7-series) but only 1.4m high, the four-door coupe’s styling has echoes of Citröen’s incredible GT supercar concept of 2008 and was developed by Citröen’s Shanghai-based design team. Audi TT RS (2009) teaser pictures and audio

It'll be Ingolstadt's hottest ever TT, with over 300bhp from its 2.5-litre turbocharged engine. To whet your appetite a little further Audi has also released an audio clip of the TT RS in action, which you can listen to here. We'll see the car in full at the Geneva motor show in less than two weeks time.

1955 Ford Thunderbird takes 2012 Ridler Award at Detroit Autorama

Dwayne Peace, his family and his 1955 Ford Thunderbird took hot-rodding's top prize at the Detroit Autorama on Sunday: the 49th Don Ridler Memorial Award. Peace, accompanied by his two sons who helped build the car, received the trophy and a check for $10,000. The Ridler Award is named for Don Ridler, an athlete and Autorama event promoter from 1957 to 1961.
