***These air injection systems are notorious for creating check engine lights and causing the vehicle to go into "Limp" mode.
*What 99.9% of the failures are from on these models (not the newer ones with issues of water entering system) are due to the pump filter coming apart and causing the valves to stick open.
*You can remove these injection valves, disassemble them, clean the debris from them, then reassemble.
*This I have done with the valves in this kit
*The only problem is you have to replace the pump filter with the correct one and it MUST have one in it or bugs WILL enter!
*I have had success with installing newer filters from the 5.7L pumps into the 4.7L pumps, that's what's in this one now.
*I then run pump with power probe Hook for 3 minutes to see the amp draw on the pump and verify proper operation, this one runs at around 17-18 amps which is good (new ones avg 17-18.5 amps)

We like the Alfa Romeo MiTo; it’s an underrated car and should be higher on most buyers’ wish lists. What we also like is that the MiTo has the fun little 875cc TwinAir engine as an option, which works pretty well, makes a good noise and promises stunning economy.
McLaren MP4-12C gets the axe
Fri, 04 Apr 2014Production of the McLaren 12C is dead. That's according to a letter sent by CEO Mike Flewitt to owners that read in part, “The final piece of news I wanted to share with you is regarding 12C production, which we have decided to cease in light of the success of 650S. The new car has been so well received since its unveiling at the Geneva motor show (we already have a six-month order bank), we will focus all our capacity at the McLaren Production Centre on 650S.” This represents a turnaround for the company that just a few days ago said the 650S would slot between the 12C and P1 in the lineup, and that both would continue.
