For Sale I have an Extremely Rare - JDM OEM Factory Toyota Altezza Qualitat TRD Edition Rear Bumper for the SXE10 Chassis.  This may also fit the Lexus IS300.  This is an original Toyota / Lexus Bumper that was designed for a limited production top level Altezza.  This item is nearly impossible to find in Japan let alone in the USA.  This item is in fair condition and has a damage / blemish from a small impact.  One grill cover is missing as seen in the pictures.  The left side of the bumper shows minor damage that should be easily fixed.  Professional refinishing, paint and installation is required.  Please inspect pictures thoroughly.  This item is extremely large and fragile - please consider this for shipping.

RM Meadow Brook auction tallies $5.4 million

A 1935 Auburn 851SC Boattail Speedster led the way at an auction held in conjunction with the Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance, selling for $462,000 as the event raked in a total of $5.4 million. The Auburn was intricately restored and just the ninth version built. It was originally a show car at the Chicago auto salon.

Porsche 911 Carrera S recall is announced for a fuel-line problem

Porsche will recall selected 2012 911 Carrera S models to repair a problem with a fuel line. The company says interference between a coolant line and the fuel line might cause the fuel line to disconnect at a quick connector. If the fuel line becomes disconnected, a leak might occur, leading to misfiring or stalling.

UK owners of the 911 GT3 aren’t getting compensation It does seem reasonable that if you buy a car you subsequently can’t use because of a design flaw, that the car maker pays you compensation for loss of use. So when Porsche ordered owners of the 911 GT3 to stop using their cars after a fire risk was revealed thanks to a faulty connector, it seemed certain owners would be in for some payback from Porsche. But despite offering US owners of the GT3 $2,000 a month for loss of use, up to $4,000 a month for those in the Middle East and €175 a day for German owners, UK owners of the GT3 aren’t getting a penny.
