Caterham AeroSeven Concept [w/Video]

Caterham has unveiled its motorsport-inspired AeroSeven Concept road car at the Singapore Grand Prix. The two-seater concept previews the carmaker's future engineering and design direction for models including the sportscar being developed in collaboration with Renault for early 2016. The AeroSeven Concept is going into production next year and is the first model to be designed and developed with input from all three of Caterham's divisions: Caterham Technology and Innovation, Caterham F1 Team and Caterham Cars.

Subaru Cross Sport Design and Viziv Evolution concepts at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013

Subaru showed two other concepts alongside the Levorg at the Tokyo Motor Show – both of which are interesting, neither of which came with very much information. The Subaru Viziv Evolution proposes a three-motor hybrid all-wheel drive system, similar to that under development by Honda, while the Subaru Cross Sport Design concept appears to be nothing less than a shooting brake estate version of the BRZ. Aside from the Mondeo-esque nose, the major talking point is a double-clutch transmission on the flagship diesels. It’s good news for the Focus, which would have looked pretty bland on the Blue Oval’s Frankfurt stand next to Ford’s other unveilings, the Verve supermini concept and the Kuga SUV.
