Aston Martin recalls most cars made since 2007
Wed, 05 Feb 2014Aston Martin Aston Martin is recalling 17,590 cars - most models built since late 2007 - over a counterfeit component mistakenly used in the accelerator assembly, the firm announced this evening. Aston Martin is keen to stress that there have been no instances of the part failing or any accidents as a result of the counterfeit part.
BMW to offer rear-wheel drive X3 SUV
Sun, 19 Aug 2012Most BMW X3s spend a negligible amount of time off road - apart from crunching across Middle England's gravel driveways - so BMW has seen fit to release a version that ditches the all-paw capacity and reverts to classic rear-wheel drive. While it's still going to be some way from a classic rear-drive Ultimate Driving Machine, the X3 sDrive18d is the cheapest and most economical way into X3 ownership. You'll be able to get your hands on one from £28,580 when it arrives in the UK in the autumn of 2012.
Hyundai increases its European Market share by 10%

As we reported just the other day, the European car market is in a bit of a mess with sales down by 9.6% in January 2013 and even the mighty sales of the VW Golf – Europe’s best-selling car – dropping by 17.8 per cent. But despite the European car market falling back, Hyundai has managed to increase its market share in Europe by almost 10 per cent, from 3.3 per cent in January 2012 to 3.6 per cent in January 2013.
