A quick-handed photographer over at GTSpirit.com was able to grab the first image of the new 2013 Ferrari F620 GT. The car will be shown on March 6 at the Geneva motor show in Switzerland. Specs from eGarage.com cite the 6.3-liter V12 at 740 hp and 690 lb-ft of torque, with an 8,700-rpm redline.

French government vows Renault reform after meeting with Ghosn

The French government will see to it that the individuals responsible for the now debunked Renault SA espionage affair are dealt with, the Finance and Industry ministers said in a statement. "The ministers underscored that they will pay close attention to organizational reform and individual responsibility (at Renault) based on the result of the audit," Finance minister Christine Lagarde and Industry Minister Eric Besson said in a joint statement after meeting with Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn on Thursday. The French state, which owns 15 percent of Renault, has called for a thorough investigation into discredited claims that three Renault executives were spying on the carmaker, possibly for a foreign government.

New Mercedes A Class to get 99g/km Mercedes are to use a 1.5 litre diesel from Renault to create a 99g/km Mercedes A Class Blueefficiency. When the new Mercedes A Class was revealed at Geneva last week we got plenty of news about what the cracking new A Class has to offer, including the news that there would be a Mercedes first with the new A Class – a 99g/km option. At the time Mercedes gave us no detail, but its now appears that they are going to use a Renault-sourced 1.5 litre diesel as the basis for the new A Class Eco version – suitably Mercedes sorted.
