Aston Martin V12 Vantage ends & big changes afoot at Aston Martin
Sat, 04 May 2013Launched as a limited edition V12 Vantage in 2009, by 2010 Aston decided there was enough demand to make the V12 Vantage a proper part of Aston’s standard offerings, and since then it’s been the same. The V12 Vantage has also spawned a Roadster version (which, we think, stays in production – at least for now) and the slightly bonkers V12 Zagato, which conspired to look a bit too extreme for an Aston and cost an arm and a leg. We know that AM sold around 1200 V12 Vantage Coupes, around 100 V12 Vantage Roadsters and a handful of V12 Zagatos, but now the run is at an end and we do wonder if there will be a replacement?
BMW readying first M Performance model for U.S.
Fri, 06 Jul 2012BMW will introduce the first in what will become a line of M Performance models to North America in early 2014 with the M235i coupe. It will take the place of the 1-series M coupe which recently ceased production after a run of more than 6,000 units, some 600 of which were sold in the United States. BMW is renaming the coupe and convertible versions of the 1-series as the 2-series for the vehicle's second generation.
Watch 'Fast & Furious 7' preview
Fri, 31 Jan 2014While searching the Interwebs for auto parts to Z cars and back, we stumbled upon this gem courtesy of our friends over at Jalopnik. The long-awaited preview of “ Fast & Furious 7” comes just months after the tragic death of lead star Paul Walker. The shaky-looking, bootlegged clip begins at “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” protagonist Han Lue's funeral, setting a somber tone for the latest installment of the series.
