Toyota Corona, and other, 3RB/3RC Remanufactured Head, includes best used Toyota stellite exhaust valves, best used Toyota steel intake valves, new hardened valve seats,  used or new, as required, valve guides, new valve stem "O" rings and new steel freeze plugs. A valve grinding gasket set is $39.24.  If you need the plugs for the air injection ports, let me know and I can send them to you.  This head was done by 'my' machine shop, that I have used for about 40 years. Payments accepted are a check thru your on-line banking "bill pay", MO, Popmoney, Chase QuickPay (you need a Chase checking account) or clearXchange used by a Bank of America customer and many other banks. The head packed weighs 46 lbs. so shipping will be expensive.

Hoping to benefit from the federal cash-for-guzzlers program, Smart USA has set up a $99 monthly payment for buyers who use their $4,500 rebate. But there's a catch--and a hefty balloon payment disclosed only as a note to an asterisk in Smart's press information announcing the offer. The Smart financing is for $99 a month for 36 months, with a balloon payment of $6,667 due at the end.

A small Florida company with hopes of making green performance cars has landed a big name. Rivian Automotive said this week that it has signed on Peter Stevens--the designer of the McLaren F1--as its director of design. It hopes to bring its first car to market in 2013 and launch more in 2014.

Aston Martin V12 Zagato production debut in Kuwait The production ready version of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato we first saw at Villa D’Este will be unveiled at the Kuwait Concours d’Elegance in February. Last spring saw the Aston Martin V12 Zagato –  spiritual successor to the Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato – arrive at Villa D’Este, looking every bit as good as you would expect an Aston Martin by Zagato to look. There were doubts expressed about whether the v12 Zagato would go in to production – at least publicly – but it was always clear that the V12 Zagato was Aston Martin['s next halo car, following on from the even more extreme (certainly cost-wise) Aston Martin One-77.
