Front mat for Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 FJ45. To keep the shape, integrity & OEM style of your Land Cruiser, this rubber mat has been nicely restored. It previously had a hole about the size of a grapefruit in the lower portion (foot) of the drivers side. That was repaired with rubber mats added to the front & rear of the original mat to give it double protection/padding, as the drivers side is where the majority of use occurs. The only other issue with the mat is a small burned area in the center transmission-hump area below the TOYOTA logo (no attempt to repair this portion was made). I do have another OEM mat listed on eBay that does NOT have the 'cut-out' for the emergency brake for the earlier year Land Cruisers having the emergency brake under the dash.

If you wish to make an acceptable offer (before bidding occurs) I will end the auction and list that price for your immediate purchase.

The mat is the OEM charcoal gray on the top side with black on the bottom side. The bottom still has some of the factory 'fabric' insulation attached to it. The repaired portion on the drivers side is black rubber(see photo). The holes, cut-outs & slits that you see on the mat are part of the original OEM configuration/design for a proper fit.

This nicely repaired mat will not only protect your floorboard from mud, water and scratches, but the extra padding will prevent the engine/exhaust heat from warming your feet. It is likely that this mat will now outlast the new owner as it performs it's Land Cruiser duties!  Photos show the mat placed inside/outside the FJ40, back and front portion of passenger/transmission hump/driver side and also before & after they were cleaned/polished.

NON-smoker environment and mat will be rolled and boxed for shipping.  Thanks!

BMW Vision Future Luxury Concept previews the next 7-Series, not a new 9-Series

Sun, 20 Apr 2014

The BMW Vision Future Luxury Concept (pictured) is our first look at the next 7-Series The general consensus, when BMW revealed it was taking a concept to preview their vision of a luxury future to the Beijing Motor Show, was that it would be the first look at a new, range-topping BMW 9-Series. But it’s not. In fact, the BMW Vision Future Luxury Concept is a preview of next year’s new BMW 7 Series and previews both the design and technology we can expect when BMW rolls out its challenger to the new Mercedes S Class in 2015.

Ken Okuyama Design heads to Tokyo with new road racer [w/video]

Tue, 12 Nov 2013

Ken Okuyama Design is heading to the Tokyo motor show with what promises to be a real treat of a two-seat sports car. The Kode9 coupé, as teased in a behind-the-scenes video, follows on from the Kode7 first shown in 2008 and, if the video is any indication, this voluminous, 1960s-inspired creation will continue that car's attention to delightful detail. And who doesn't love a car with a vertical tail fin?
