Chrysler, Nissan, GM set pace as industry's September volume advances 10 percent

It was the biggest increase in light vehicle sales since April, when surging gas prices and Japan's earthquake started to put a dent in demand.
Aston Martin to recall nearly 17,000 cars

Models built between November 2007 and October 2013 will be recalled, the firm says, because they “may exhibit a defect in the throttle pedal”. Land Rover fomalizes deal with off-road partner Bowler
Thu, 21 Jun 2012Land Rover finalized a deal with Bowler on Thursday that formalizes an existing arrangement as Bowler—a U.K.-based builder of rally raid cars—has been a working with Land Rover for more than a decade. Bowler competition vehicles will now compete with “Powered by Land Rover” badges, a slogan that will also be highlighted in customer and marketing events. Bowler will also get access to Land Rover parts and benefit from “technical and development support” from the firm.
