Sebastian Vettel (pictured) is in pole position for the Indian Grand Prix Sebastian Vettel had a chance to take the 2013 F1 drivers title in Japan, but Alonso managed to spoil that by finishing in fourth spot. But there seems little to stop Vettel taking the title in India tomorrow after a dominant display put him in pole position for tomorrow’s race. Vettel took pole by 0.752s from Rosberg with Rosberg’s team mate, Lewis Hamilton taking third spot and the second Red Bull of Mark Webber lining up in fourth.

Ram heavy-duty pickup gets higher towing rating

Ram has fired the latest salvo in the ongoing pickup war between the domestic automakers, releasing what the brand claims is now best-in-class towing capacity for its 2013 heavy-duty pickups. The 2013 Ram 3500 is rated to tow a 30,000-pound trailer, up from a maximum towing capacity of 22,750 pounds for the same vehicle and powertrain setup in 2012. According to their respective Web sites, similarly equipped heavy-duty 3500 pickups from General Motors are rated at a towing capacity of 23,100 pounds, while Ford's F-350 similarly equipped is rated at 22,800 pounds.

The Skoda Yeti open pick-up concept from 2005 Back in 2005, Skoda revealed a small, urban concept called the Skoda Yeti. Based on the then Golf platform, it was designed to be a non-aggressive, practical and fashion-conscience urban SUV. The original concept was shown at Geneva in 2005, with an updated concept, featuring an open pick-up, showing at Frankfurt later the same year.
