Vauxhall Corsa gets a 2010 eco facelift

The new 2010 model year Vauxhall Corsa has been nipped and tucked, tweaked and polished to produce an impressive average 13% fuel saving across the range.Five out of the six Corsa engines now produce less than 125g/km and the 2010 Corsa Ecoflex diesel now manages up to 76.3mpg (on the Government's not-especially-representative combined figures).How have they made the Corsas so much cleaner?Just good old-fashioned engine tuning, apparently. Porsche Exclusive to offer Powerkit and Aerokit for 911 Carrera S

Porsche's in-house Exclusive custom division on Thursday introduced new power-enhancement and aero-enhancement kits for the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S. The Powerkit boosts the 3.8-liter flat-six engine's output to 430 hp, up from 400 hp. The extra power comes courtesy of redesigned cylinder heads and new camshafts, along with modifications to the electronic engine-management system.

The Yaris HSD, as presented in Geneva, previews Toyota's intentions of bringing Hybrid technology to the B-Segment, as well as Toyota's full hybrid roll out across all models in its range. Retaining the familiar Yaris outwardly appearance (and previewing the next generation Yaris) the HSD is interspersed with ‘Hybrid' cues, to intimate at the hybrid powertrain beneath the body. From the pearl white paint to the light blue hue that illuminates certain aspects, there is an underlying emphasis on the fact that this car is a hybrid.
