Charles Morgan to build rival cars

Sacked Morgan boss Charles Morgan is to set up new sports car company that he says will rival the 104-year-old British car manufacturer that bears his family name and recently dismissed him. In a report in the Telegraph, Charles is quoted as saying his new company will “build on the innovation and heritage of my grandfather”. Skoda Superb Estate teased

The new Skoda Superb Estate teased ahead of a Frankfurt launch Update 18/9/09: Skoda has now launched the Superb Estate – the Skoda Superb Combi – at Frankfurt. The Skoda Superb Estate is something of a monster estate – aimed to compete with the big Volvo estates – and is likely to come with an engine – and trim level – to suit just about any need. Cadillac ELR gives paddle shifters new purpose

We're learning more about the Cadillac ELR, which is set to hit showrooms in limited quantities early next year. Cadillac revealed Friday that the Volt in luxury clothing will use paddle shifters in a whole new way. Instead of using them to shift through gears, ELR drivers will be able to tap the paddles to engage a new feature called Regen on Demand.
