College Exhibition: Art Center Summer Show 2011 - Non-thesis work

Art Center College of Design held its annual Summer Degree show at its campus in Pasadena, California on the eve of the Pebble Beach weekend of events. Besides their main crux of thesis projects, nine graduating students in the acclaimed Transportation Design course showcased some of the designs they worked on during their internships and in previous years. As we commented recently, the 911 is the soul of Porsche; its reason to be, if you like. Which is why the driver experience is at the heart of all that Porsche does with the 911′s development. And Porsche has added a new option to the 911 Carrera and Targa range, available from February.

Peugeot SXC concept car (2011) first official pictures

Peugeot will show this SXC crossover concept at next week’s 2011 Shanghai auto show. It’s a large hybrid 4x4 designed in Peugeot’s Chinese styling studio and shows a few pointers for how a future crossover could look. We’ll take that to mean the next 4007 then.
