I have a used lamp lens for a Toyota pickup and it should fit years 1986 through 1989 and maybe more on each side of the range.  It's in excellent condition and has the marking of Toyota 35-45 and SAE APP2 90 Japan on the front.  I believe the piece is for the left side of a truck in the front. It has one access hole in the back for the bulb to fit through.

Thanks for looking and good luck on your bid !

Concept Car of the Week: Italdesign Machimoto (1986)

Fri, 07 Feb 2014

The Machimoto might look and sound like a Japanese concept, but it was developed in Europe in the Turin-based Italdesign studio, and was based on a Volkswagen Golf GTI platform. The name actually derives from MACHIna (car in Italian) and MOTOciclo (motorcycle) as the perfect hybrid between the worlds of two- and four-wheelers. Unveiled on its home turf at the Turin motor show in 1986, it landed like a UFO, shocking both the public and the press.

Step forward the Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430 and the Aston Martin DB9 Carbon Black & Carbon White Editions. There’s little new on offer, really, with a rehashing of what Aston Martin has produced before as ‘Limited Edition’ cars, with the V8 Vantage N430 continuing the theme of Vantage  ’N’ Editions and the Carbon’ limited edition’ DB9s done before.

Mad Ferrari V8-engined quad bike

Tue, 29 Oct 2013

Quad bikes are a curious mode of transport. Especially when they’re powered by a 3.0-litre Ferrari V8 engine. Yes, you read that right – this is the Lazareth Wazuma V8F Matt Edition and beneath its barely there bodywork lurks a thoroughbred V8 motor usually mounted in the middle of one of Maranello’s finest.
