Toyota Vintage Factory Original Am Fm Radio Hilux Celica Corona Cressida on 2040-parts.com
Barnardsville, North Carolina, United States
It is not exactly hi fidelity, but it works as intended and actually doesn't sound too shabby. All of the controls work fine. I heard no popping or crackling when using the volume control or station tuner. The preset station buttons all work well. The knob stems are about 5" apart. This radio came from a 1978 Celica and was found on 78-79 Celicas. I have left a few inches of wiring to ease installation in other applications. So if you're restoring your classic Toy to original condition, then this may be for you.
On Jul-23-09 at 20:55:48 PDT, seller added the following information: We do offer combined shipping discounts on a case by case basis. In rare cases this is not practical, such as when it is too risky to pack a heavy part along with a very fragile part in the same parcel. So if you're buying more than one part. please wait for us to send you a combined invoice before paying. Thank you. |

Hennessey unveils VelociRaptor SUV
Mon, 20 May 2013From the folks who brought you the Venom GT and countless other cars and trucks capable of putting up ridiculous numbers, Hennessey Performance is back with another concoction, the VelociRaptor SUV. Based on the standard Ford F-150 Raptor, the truck is converted to a full-size SUV (think Ford Excursion) with seating for up to eight people. Though it's based on the Raptor, don't expect to go extreme off-roading with it, as Hennessey states that this car is intended for on-road use, as well as light to moderate off-roading.
AutoWeek office swag: Mazda rotary-engine keychain with realistic motion
Fri, 20 May 2011When I got the keys to our long-term 2011 Mazda 5 last week, they came with a surprise--this aluminum-and-brass keychain in the shape of a rotary-engine housing, complete with moving rotor. The rotor doesn't just rattle around or spin in a circle. Thanks to a thumbwheel on the back of the housing, coupled with a timing gear and offset crank journal, the thing actually moves in an approximation of epitrochoidal motion just like a real Wankel.
