Kia to unveil Cub concept at Seoul motor show

Kia will unveil its new Cub compact four-door coupé crossover concept at this week's Seoul motor show. Designed by Kia's Namyang Design Center in Hwaseong, South Korea, the concept measures in at less than four meters long and is the latest in a series of explorations into Kia's B- and C-segment future models, following last year's Trackster concept and the Provo concept shown at the Geneva show earlier this month. From the single released image, the Cub features another possible direction for Kia's now-familar tiger-nose DRG with a slim, horizontal air intake running underneath two-point LED headlamps.

Range_e (2013) - the hybrid electric Range Rover Sport

Land Rover today confirmed its first hybrid models will be launched in 2013. The new Range_e is a showcase for the company's diesel-electric hybrid tech in a current Range Rover Sport bodyshell. Tests will start in late 2010 with a small fleet of five hybrids - but bosses have set a 2013 production date, coinciding with the launch of the large family of Land Rovers.

Vintage racer Anatoly Arutunoff in serious but stable condition

Automotive enthusiast, vintage racer, rapscallion and country-boy bon vivant Anatoly Arutunoff is in serious but stable condition following an accident on Feb. 8 while reportedly being a Good Samaritan. Arutunoff, known as Toly to his friends, was on his way to the Sports Car Club of America convention in Las Vegas when he stopped to help a stranded driver along Interstate 40 in Amarillo, Texas.
