The guys at Competition Engineering say these Slide-A-Link traction bars will cut half a tenth off of your 60 ft. times. The secret is their innovative telescoping design, which gives you two full inches of adjust-ability when setting pinion angle and spring pre-load. That gives you more control over front-end lift and weight transfer, so you can make quick, easy, on-car adjustments to track conditions. The bars come with special urethane bushings that store energy to prevent unloading between shifts, replacement lower axle mount pads, 1/2 in. U-bolts, aluminum front spring eye bushings, hardware, and complete instructions.

2015 Subaru WRX debuts at Los Angeles Auto Show

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

If you loved the rakish WRX concept that bowed in New York earlier this year, the production 2015 WRX, which debuted today at the Los Angeles Auto Show, may be a slight downer: decidedly less boy-racer than its predecessors, its sculpted fender flares and unique sheetmetal only slightly disguise its Impreza rootstock. But the WRX has always been more about performance than style, anyway, and Subaru says the new car will top its predecessor on that front. The '14 WRX's 2.0-liter turbocharged boxer-four squeezes out 268 hp and 258 lb-ft -- just a little bit more than the outgoing 2.5-liter turbo-equipped car.

Yanfeng Visteon is set to reveal its Glide project at Car Design News' Car Design Night in Beijing on 23 April, the evening of the first Beijing auto show press day. The project was developed with fashionable individuals within densely populated Chinese cities in mind, with its approach specifically inspired by Chinese fashion. Yanfeng Visteon, a Tier 1 supplier, describes the vehicle as a response to the question, "What are the unique cultural and design elements to define 'premium' and 'sportiness'?" Check back on Monday for further details of Yanfeng Visteon's answer to its question.

Mazda 3 saloon (2009): first photos

Thu, 09 Oct 2008

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 09 October 2008 12:20 Mazda is replacing its 3 family of hatchbacks and saloons and we'll see this US-market sedan at next month's Los Angeles motor show. It's a four-door for the notchback-obsessed Americans, but we'll see the five-door Euro-style Mazda 3 hatch a few weeks later at the 2008 Bologna motor show. The new Mazda 3 is believed to be based on the engineering skeleton of a Ford Focus, so expect a front-wheel drive layout and a wide spread of diesel and petrol engines.
