Trail-Creeper gear kits from Trail Gear are designed to give you that ultra-low rock crawling gear ratio that is most desirable. These kits are specifically designed for Toyota Pickups and 4Runners, equipped with gear drive style transfer cases, from 1979 to 1995. The Trail-Creeper reduces the low range gear ratio from the stock 2.28:1 to a mighty rock busting 4.70:1, without affecting the high range gear ratio, which remains at 1:1. Some modification will be required for installation on 4 cylinder vehicles, and 6 cylinder vehicles will require the 4 cylinder gear drive unit and 6 cylinder adapter.
