New VW Golf GTI Mk6 concept (2008): first official photos

These are the first pictures of the new Golf GTI, which will be officially unveiled at the Paris motor show next week. Power from the turbocharged 2.0-litre four-pot engine is up, while the looks are inspired by the W12 650 GTI concept from 2007.

Lamborghini SUV – it’s NOT a rumour

The Lamborghini SUV has been confirmed by an Audi manager Rumours of a Lamborghini SUV Concept at the Beijing Motor Show have been confirmed by a senior Audi Manager. We reported a few days ago that Quattroruote, an Italian car magazine, were claiming that the much rumoured Lamborghini SUV Concept would debut at the Beijing Motor Show in April. Convoys of driverless trucks could be trialled on UK roads as soon as next year, with plans to roll them out on quiet motorways in the near future. Road trains of up to 10 lorries could be controlled by a driver in a single lead vehicle, with the rest of the trucks connected using wifi.
