McLaren MP4-12C to charge hill at Goodwood with Button and Hamilton at the wheel
Wed, 30 Jun 2010The McLaren MP4-12C will make its much-anticipated public debut at Goodwood, and yet another advanced prototype will charge up the famous hill in the supercar portion of the event--driven by none other than McLaren Formula One stars Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton. They'll be piloting the VP9 validation prototype finished in traditional McLaren orange. In addition to the hill charge, a new prototype will be on display with all of the carbon-fiber fittings, including splitter, engine covers and seatbacks.

Amazingly, it makes the coupe nearly as fuel efficient as a family car, nudging 30mpg. BMW adds 3-series GT to 2014 lineup
Wed, 06 Feb 2013The BMW 3-series family is growing, as the German automaker adds a GT, or Gran Turismo, model to its lineup. The car launches this summer as a 2014 model after a reveal at the Geneva motor show. The 3-series GT is 7.9 inches longer, has a 4.3-inch longer wheelbase and is 3.2 inches taller than the existing 3-series wagon.
