Fri, 07 May 2010

The Germany only BMW Z4 Mille Miglia As we mentioned the other day when we were talking about Jaguar and the Mille Miglia, it’s that Mille Miglia time of year when car makers turn to their history books to see if they can get some mileage out of a Mille Miglia link and attach it to current products. This represents a modest 1mph increase over the previous record – which Drayson set last year in the same Drayson Racing Technologies all-electric prototype. But the ‘Lord of Speed’ (as we’ve just dubbed him) also broke four other records in the process.

We expected that leak would galvanise Mercedes-Benz to bring forward the release of official photos of the SL a bit ( we were expecting them tomorrow), but it hasn’t so far.
