'Get tough on killer drivers' call
Fri, 21 Mar 2014DRIVERS who cause death on the roads should be jailed for at least five years, according to the majority of motorists. Eighty-two per cent reckon sentences should be higher for those drivers who kill, a survey by road safety charity Brake and insurance company Direct Line found. Brake said the latest Government figures showed 62% of those convicted of killing someone through risky driving were jailed and only 9% got sentences of five years or more.

Kia may have made big strides in the last few years – along with sister company, Hyundai – but there’s no sense they’re resting on their laurels despite declaring 2013 the year when brand perception is key rather than huge sales growth. Lamborghini Super Trofeo race car reset for street duty
Sun, 26 Sep 2010Lamborghini has taken the version of the Gallardo it builds for the single-make Super Trofeo racing series and re-engineered it for street duty to create the Gallardo LP 570-4 Blancpain Edition. The 5.2-liter V10 in the road-going car pumps out 570 hp, the same as the race car. It also gets the race car's tall rear wing, rear engine cover, composite ceramic brake discs and extensive use of carbon fiber.
