Saab deal with China not valid says Pangda Chairman Update 10 am 12/10/11: Saab & Pangda have issued a statement about this story and say that the reports of the Saab deal with Pangda and Youngman as being no longer valid are “…based on a misunderstanding”. Whatever that means. Yesterday there was yet more speculation that Saab will be declared bankrupt as real doubt about the deal with Chinese companies Pangda and Youngman started to surface.

The new Skoda Octavia arrives as a third generation offering more room, more efficiency and a new look. Arrives in the UK spring 2013. BMW's Project i – an internal codename for a possible sub-brand dedicated to green urban driving – has been in the works for some time. The Vision EfficientDynamics concept, unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Show, showcased some of the lightweight technological advances and design thinking behind the forthcoming zero-emission cars. Recently the firm held a Project i event, where it released teaser sketches of the first vehicle to result from the project, the Megacity Vehicle (MCV) – a four-seater electric car with a rear-mounted engine and rear wheel drive.
