This is about 1 uncut transponder key with plastic head. The term transponder (short-for Transmitter-responder) means an automatic device that transmits a predetermined message in response to a predefined received signal. These car year, make and models have keys with transponders hidden inside the plastic head of the key. The owner of the car may not even be aware that the transponder is there because there are no buttons to press. When a key is inserted into the ignition lock cylinder and turned, the car's computer sends a radio signal to the transponder. Unless the transponder replies with a valid code, the computer will not allow the engine to be started. Transponder keys have no battery; they are energized by the radio signal itself. When you attempt to start the vehicle, the onboard computer sends out a signal that is picked up by the transponder in the key. The transponder then returns a unique signal to the vehicle's computer, giving it the ok for the vehicle to start and continue to run. This all happens in less than a second, and is completely transparent to the vehicle operator. It is a very effective system that does its job without the vehicle owner having to think about it, or modify his / her usual routine. This system was introduced to help reduce vehicle crime. If the transponder key is missing or faulty the car will not start. A few years ago, these keys were only available through the dealer, and the price they charge is really expensive (From $90 to $149 depending the Car). Today, you can get these keys here, and get it delivered to your door. Is a very easy purchase, you stay home, wait for the key, SAVE MONEY, and have the spear key you needed.
You can take this key to a professional locksmith or the dealership to cut, program and duplicate it. Taking this key with you is going to cost you less than half of regular $125 than most locksmiths and dealership charge. It Fits: Daewoo Lanos (1999 - 2002) Note: If your car has Prox FOB, which means you don't need always the key to start the vehicle, or you can start it with a push button, this key is NOT for your car. If you have any question, just ask!

Volkswagen Beetle Dune 'could be built'
Tue, 14 Jan 2014IF YOU like your Beetles with a little more ‘dune buggy’ about them, Volkswagen’s latest concept is right up your street. And what’s more, it really could be right up your street if public reaction to the so-called Beetle Dune is strong enough. With a body raised by 50mm, 19-inch wheels and a special rear-mounted luggage rack reminiscent of early Beetles, the Dune plays on its dual heritage strands of its earliest predecessor and the fully off-road biased dune buggies built on Beetle chassis.
Caparo T1 – Race Extreme Version and new options
Fri, 20 Mar 2009The Caparo T1 Race Extreme Version gets 620bhp [ad#ad-1] We talk a lot about extreme versions of road cars. By any measure the Lamborhini Murcielago LP670-4 SV is extreme, and the Koenigsegg CCXR Edition even more so. Brutal almost, with performance that you will rarely, if ever, be able to use to the full on public roads.
CPP buys Zagato
Tue, 05 Jul 2011Ferrari 550 GTZ - built by CPP In a move that seems to have received no coverage whatsoever, our favourite specialist car putter-together – CPP (Coventry Prototype Panels as was) – has quietly bought up Zagato. For those of you who are ‘Vlad Watchers’ this may come as no surprise. It seems that Vladimir Antonov is on a quest to buy up everything interesting there is to buy in the specialist car world (and Portsmouth FC too – no accounting for taste!), which includes funding CPP and its recent acquisitions.
