This is about 1 uncut transponder key. The term transponder (short-for Transmitter-responder) means an automatic device that transmits a predetermined message in response to a predefined received signal. These car year, make and models have keys with transponders hidden inside the plastic head of the key. The owner of the car may not even be aware that the transponder is there because there are no buttons to press. When a key is inserted into the ignition lock cylinder and turned, the car's computer sends a radio signal to the transponder. Unless the transponder replies with a valid code, the computer will not allow the engine to be started. Transponder keys have no battery; they are energized by the radio signal itself. When you attempt to start the vehicle, the onboard computer sends out a signal that is picked up by the transponder in the key. The transponder then returns a unique signal to the vehicle's computer, giving it the ok for the vehicle to start and continue to run. This all happens in less than a second, and is completely transparent to the vehicle operator. It is a very effective system that does its job without the vehicle owner having to think about it, or modify his / her usual routine. This system was introduced to help reduce vehicle crime. If the transponder key is missing or faulty the car will not start. A few years ago, these keys were only available through the dealer, and the price they charge is really expensive (From $90 to $149 depending the Car). Today, you can get these keys here, and get it delivered to your door. Is a very easy purchase, you stay home, wait for the key, SAVE MONEY, and have the spare key you needed.
You can take this key to a professional locksmith or the dealership to cut, program and duplicate it. Taking this key with you is going to cost you less than half of regular $125 than most locksmiths and dealership charge. Lamborghini Aventador J at 2012 Geneva motor show
Mon, 05 Mar 2012There maybe other Italian sports car manufacturers looking to hog the limelight at the 2012 Geneva motor show (and Ferrari and its 730bhp F12 is one of them) but Lamborghini will vie for attention with the Aventador J. A two-seat, open top speedster based on the Aventador LP700-4, it has some intriguing bits of carbonfibre tech and highly individual design. Named 'J' after the FIA’s Appendix J that governs the tech spec of race cars in certain classes, it’s proper bedroom wall material – but little boys and girls are unlikely to ever see it on the road as it’s a one-off and will go to a lucky owner after its appearance at Geneva.
Range Rover 3.6 TDV8 Review & Road Test (2010)
Sun, 05 Sep 2010The Range Rover 3.6 TDV8 Autobiography Review & Road Test The Range Rover – as most of you already know from the celebrations Land Rover had in June – is forty years old this year. Which seems hardly possible from my perspective; I remember its launch. Admittedly, it was long before I was old enough to drive on the roads, but old enough to remember the ‘Posh’ Land Rover and the impact it had.
Frankfurt 2011: 2012 Subaru XV gets unveiled
Thu, 15 Sep 20112012 Subaru XV arrives on the Frankfurt stage We did moan – which we have been known to, from time to time – about the tease for the launch of the 2012 Subaru XV at Frankfurt. We moaned because we couldn’t see the point. We couldn’t see the point in Subaru teasing the XV with art photos, particularly when those photos showed a production XV which looked exactly like the concept XV.
