Charles Morgan to build rival cars
Wed, 27 Nov 2013Sacked Morgan boss Charles Morgan is to set up new sports car company that he says will rival the 104-year-old British car manufacturer that bears his family name and recently dismissed him. In a report in the Telegraph, Charles is quoted as saying his new company will “build on the innovation and heritage of my grandfather”. Mercedes fixes diesel injector problems
Thu, 11 Oct 2012Mercedes say that a new injector system for C Class and E Class diesels with the OM651 engine have now been fixed. So extensive was the problem that many owners were waiting months for their cars to be fixed as Mercedes struggled with a mounting pile of broken cars and injectors that were failing. Mercedes tell us that the problem was fixed with the release of new injectors later in 2010, but Cars UK readers have continued to complain about their cars needing multiple visits to dealers with injectors failing multiple times (that original story garnered more than 500 comments from disgruntled Mercedes owners).
Honda NSX: 2013 Detroit Auto Show
Wed, 16 Jan 2013A new version of the Honda NSX Concept (Acura NSX) has been revealed at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, this time with an interior. But last year, at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, Honda turned up with the first concept of the new NSX, complete with a confession that this NSX wasn’t a done deal for production, but a work in progress. That work in progress is now back at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show and comes with a few tweaks to the styling but, more importantly, the first idea of how the interior will look when the new NSX does arrive in a couple of years (probably).
