This is about 1 uncut transponder high security key. Please make sure your original Honda key has a "V" stamped on the blade. If your original Honda key has an "F" stamped on it, this key will not work in your car. The term transponder (short-for Transmitter-responder)means an automatic device that transmits a predetermined message in response to a predefined received signal. These car year, make and models have keys with transponders hidden inside the plastic head of the key. The owner of the car may not even be aware that the transponder is there because there are no buttons to press. When a key is inserted into the ignition lock cylinder and turned, the car's computer sends a radio signal to the transponder. Unless the transponder replies with a valid code, the computer will not allow the engine to be started. Transponder keys have no battery; they are energized by the radio signal itself. When you attempt to start the vehicle, the onboard computer sends out a signal that is picked up by the transponder in the key. The transponder then returns a unique signal to the vehicle's computer, giving it the ok for the vehicle to start and continue to run. This all happens in less than a second, and is completely transparent to the vehicle operator. It is a very effective system that does its job without the vehicle owner having to think about it, or modify his / her usual routine. This system was introduced to help reduce vehicle crime. Video: Jaguar XF clay model gets axed
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Jaguar recently gave a trio of clay modelers the task of deconstructing the original model of their carefully and lovingly sculpted XF sedan by handing them axes and sledgehammers in front of a camera crew. The modelers – dressed in black t-shirts and jeans – are shown taking apart the model piece by piece, perhaps taking out their frustration with designers who feel the need to get a little too hands-on with their artisan handiwork. Perhaps some other car manufacturers could using this as inspiration to destroy some of their cars, maybe – naming no names – before reaching production.

Audi Q5 due next year: Autoweek Magazine
Mon, 02 Feb 2009Audi will offer a hybrid version of its Q5 premium SUV in the US starting in late 2010, says Wolfgang Hatz, head of powertrain development for the Volkswagen group. If the car is a success in the US, Audi said it may launch it in Europe. In an interview at the auto show here last month, Hatz said Audi must offer a hybrid model to compete with rival vehicles that already offer the technology, such as the Lexus RX 400h.
