This is a Collins TDR-950 transponder that was removed for an upgrade.
I did have the transponder tested and it works but is slightly out on sensitivity (-0.05db) This means you might drop off on extreme range. I removed this unit because I am upgrading to the ne ADS-B transponder As you can see the unit was last yellow tagged in 1992. It has an excellent faceplate with no cracks at the screw holes. But it’s taken until now – 2013 and after the Mk 7 Golf arrived – for VW to fulfil the promise of more powerful open-top motoring in the Golf with the arrival – following a Golf R Cabrio tease video at the end of 2012 – to finally reveal it. Just as you’d expect, the Golf R Cabriolet is mechanically similar to the Golf R in that it gets the same 2.0 litre turbo four cylinder petrol engine that delivers its power through a six-speed dual-clutch auto box.
2013 Infiniti IPL G convertible officially announced at Pebble Beach

The 2013 Infiniti IPL G convertible will likely share hardware with the IPL G coupe on sale now, and the power retractable hardtop used by the G37 convertible. IPL, which stands for Infiniti Performance Line, is the manufacturer's in-house performance department, serving as an extension of the Nissan NISMO works into the company's luxury division.
