Russo and Steele sues tent company over auction damage

Four months after its Scottsdale, Ariz., auction was disrupted by severe weather, Russo and Steele is suing tent company Tri-Rentals for damage caused when a tent collapsed on several hundred collector cars. In a statement released on Thursday, Russo and Steele said that it was forced to file suit against the rental company to protect its reputation. The auction firm says its lawsuit cites negligence, gross negligence, breach of duty of good faith and fair dealing.

The Mercedes GLA 45 AMG Concept has been revealed in LA Over the weekend we had a teaser video from AMG for the GLA 45 AMG Concept, although Mercedes didn’t actually name it as such. But a GLA with the same powertrain as the A 45 and CLA 45 AMG is exactly what Mercedes’ AMG concept tease was, and it’s now been revealed in LA ahead of a likely debut in production form in 2014. The GLA 45 AMG Concept gets bold graphics – something buyers would be unlikely to want – and 21″ forged alloys painted matt black with a red rim and red brake callipers to shout its intent.

Ferrari online auction to benefit victims of Italian earthquakes

The series of earthquakes that struck northern Italy this month did much more than temporarily halt supercar production. It resulted in the deaths of at least 24 people and caused hundreds of millions of dollars in property damage. Ferrari, whose hometown of Maranello is situated in the quake-stricken region, will conduct an online auction and contribute proceeds to the families of earthquake victims.
