For sale, Tremco vehicle anti-theft device for Ford Crown Vic, or any vehicle with the same brake switch.

From the website:

"What the Tremco Anti-Theft System does is to lock a patrol car's shift lever in the park position whenever the vehicle is put in park – allowing the vehicle to be secure even if it's still running. The locking system can be deactivated by pressing a hidden foot actuator, and a buzzer sounds to let the officer know the shift lever is active again."

Simple and quick to install, hide the footswitch under the carpet, plug the brake switch into the correct plugs, and you have an additional level of protection.

Can be turned off.

I've got a box of these so you will get one that looks like the picture.  Tested that pressing the airbag makes the switch in the box click, I don't have a Crown Vic to do further testing.

Make an offer if you want more....

thanks

McLaren P1 back at the Nurburgring in attack mode

Sat, 19 Oct 2013

The McLaren P1 is back at the Nurburgring looking to set a new record It was brave of Ron Dennis to declare – before the McLaren P1 was anywhere close to finished – that the it would be able to lap the Nurburgring in under 7 minutes. He was obviously very confident his new baby was up to the task but, just like McLaren’s current Formula One car, the P1 seems to be just a bit off the pace. Last month we reported that it seemed the best the McLaren P1 could do at the Nurburgring was a 7:04s – a time McLaren didn’t make official – so we knew McLaren would be back with their laptops and engineers as soon as they’d figured a way to trim those last few seconds.

The white-and-red-striped 2014 Shelby GT500 had just 29 miles on it when Tina and Jeff left Green Bay, Wisc. "Now, we've got 2,500," said Tina. They left on April 9, one of three in a convoy of couples celebrating the Ford Mustang: Donna and John in a 2009 candy-apple red GT, Missy and Dave in a 2008 California Special.

Toyota Prius C not coming to the UK – Yaris Hybrid instead

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Toyota Prius C - leaked in the photo above - is not coming to the UK Just last week we revealed that the new compact Prius City car – dubbed the Toyota Prius C – has leaked out in Japan from a brochure, ahead of an expected debut at the Tokyo Motor Show next month. But the UK won’t be getting the Prius C. A Toyota spokesman has said that with the UK already having the UK-built Auris Hybrid – and the Yaris Hybrid arriving next year – there are no plans to bring the new small Prius to the UK.
