Condition:Used

Trimble was the first company on the market with an IFR GPS.  The model 2000 was the top of their line.  It has since been surpassed by Garmin and lots of newer units.  It is still a workable GPS.  If you are looked for a really inexpensive panel mount unit or maybe as a spare for one that you are still using, this is just what you need.

This is a complete unit, with tray, annuciator panel, antenna, and antenna cable.  I removed it from an airplane that we purchased.  I was told that it works fine, but I have not attempted to use it.  It was set up to share a King KI-209A CDI with a King radio.  The annunciator panel was made and wired for this set up.  It looks to be in good condition.

Cuba loosens some limits on selling cars

Mon, 03 Oct 2011

For decades, driving down the streets of Cuba was like entering an automotive time warp. The streets are full of cars from the 1950s, and there's virtually nothing modern. But with an announcement by President Raul Castro last week, the strict rules are going to be relaxed a bit, and Cubans and foreign residents now have the right to buy and sell cars made after 1959.
